In order to improve efficiency the City of Sedalia has integrated utility billing into the city wide accounting system. You will note a new account number has been assigned to you.

Your new customer portal, where you can view your account history and make online payments, is available HERE. If you have any questions, or have not yet received a utility bill with your new account number, please call (660) 826-1234 and we will be happy to provide that to you.


The Sedalia Water Department has been proudly serving the city of Sedalia & and surrounding areas since 1926. With a customer base of over 10,000 and growing.

If you are a new resident of the city, have recently moved or built a new home we look forward to serving you. For your convenience you may download the necessary forms to request a new or modify an existing service prior to visiting our office.
